Christianity - Jewish religion? On the relation of Orthodoxy to Judaism Relations between Jews and Christians in the early period.
Very often, Christians mistakenly refer to Jews who belong to Judaism as brothers in faith, not knowing that these religions, although related, have significant differences. After all, the Old Testament is common, Jesus came precisely to Israel, the Jews are called everywhere God's people. What are the differences and how should an Orthodox Christian treat Judaism?
Judaism - what is this religion
Judaism is the oldest monotheistic religion, the followers of which were born Jews or converted to this faith during their lifetime. Despite the ancient age (more than 3000 years), there are not so many followers of this trend - only about 14 million people. At the same time, it was from Judaism that such movements as Christianity and Islam came out, which today have the largest number of followers. What do the Jews confess?
Judaism is the faith (religion) of the Jewish people
The main idea of religion is faith in the One God Yahweh (one of the names of God) and the observance of His commandments, which are set forth in the Torah. In addition to the Torah, the Jews also have the Tanakh - another sacred text, the belief in the holiness of which has become one of the fundamental differences from Christianity.
Based on these two documents, the Jews hold the following views:
- Monotheism - believe in the One God the Father, who created the earth and man in His image and likeness.
- God is Perfect and Almighty and is also presented as the source of Grace and Love for all. He is not only God for man, but also a loving Father who has mercy and helps to be saved from sin.
- There can be dialogues between man and God, i.e. prayers. It does not require sacrifice or any other manipulation. God wants to approach man directly and does so according to His will. A person should only strive for dialogue and the holiness of God.
- The value of a person who is created in the image of God is enormous. He has his own purpose from the Lord, which consists in endless and all-round spiritual perfection.
- In the history of mankind there are great people and prophets, about whose life the Old Testament writes. Among them are Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David, Elijah, Isaiah and other wise men who are fundamental personalities in Judaism and role models.
- The main moral principles of religion are love for the Almighty and for one's neighbor;
- The basis of religion is the Ten Commandments, the observance of which must be strictly for a Jew.
- The doctrine of the openness of religion, i.e. the opportunity to apply to anyone who wants to.
- The doctrine of the coming of the Messiah - a prophet and a king who will save mankind.
These are far from all the theses of Judaism, but they are fundamental and allow you to form an opinion about this religion. In fact, it is the closest to Christianity in its beliefs, but still has significant differences.

Difference from Orthodoxy
Despite having the same belief in an Almighty and Loving God, Christianity differs significantly from Judaism in a number of theological issues. And it was these differences that became irreconcilable for their followers.
Jews pray in the synagogue
The differences include:
- Recognition of Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah and Lord as part of the Holy Trinity - the Jews reject this fundamental foundation of Christianity and refuse to believe in the divinity of Christ. They also reject Christ as the Messiah because they do not understand the importance and value of His death on the cross. They wanted to see a Warrior Messiah who would save them from the oppression of other peoples, but a simple man came who saved humanity from sin - the main enemy. Misunderstanding and denial of this is the main and fundamental difference between these religions.
- For a Christian, the salvation of the soul is only in faith in Jesus Christ, but for a Jew this is not important. In their opinion, people of all faiths, even radically different, can be saved, provided that the basic commandments (10 Commandments + 7 commandments of the sons of Noah) are observed.
- For a Christian, the fundamental commandments are not only the 10 laws of the Old Testament, but also the 2 commandments that Christ gave. Jews recognize only the Old Testament and its laws.
- Belief in Chosenness: For the followers of Christ, it is clear that everyone who confesses Christ can be saved and become part of God's people. For Jews, faith in their chosenness is fundamental and indisputable, despite their actions and lifestyle.
- Missionary - the Jews do not seek to enlighten other peoples and convert them to their faith, but for Christians - this is one of the commandments of Christ "Go and teach."
- Tolerance: Christians try to be tolerant towards representatives of other faiths and be meek during times of oppression; ideas, on the contrary, are extremely aggressive towards other religions and always militantly defend their beliefs and rights.
The attitude of the Orthodox Church towards Judaism
Throughout the church Christian history(as well as the history of Judaism) there were militant skirmishes that concerned disagreements in dogmatic issues.
Synagogue - a place of public worship and the center of life of the Jewish community
At the beginning of the birth of Christianity (the first centuries AD), the Jews were extremely militant towards its representatives, starting with the crucifixion of Christ himself and the persecution of His first disciples. Later, with the widespread spread of Christianity, its followers began to treat Jews cruelly and infringe them in every possible way.
According to historical documents, there was a forced baptism of Jews in 867–886. and later. Also, many people know about the persecution of Jews as a people already in the 19th-20th centuries, especially in the USSR and during the Second World War, when millions of Jews suffered.
The Church today responds to this in the following way:
- a violent attitude towards the Jews took place, but much later than the Christians suffered;
- it was an exception, not a ubiquitous practice;
- The Church has a negative attitude towards such manifestations of violence and condemns the actions and the very idea of forced conversion.
Alexander Men once very clearly expressed his attitude towards Judaism, and it completely coincides with the opinion of the entire Orthodox Church and its attitude. According to him, the Old Testament became the basis for the three main monistic religions that arose in the bosom of the culture of Ancient Israel. Both Judaism and Christianity, despite their unequivocal recognition of the Old Testament, have their own teachings and canons, which have their own theological differences.
Despite this, according to the independent definition of the Russian Orthodox Church, it is multinational and does not want and will expel Jewish elements from its bosom, since it has many of them in itself.
Important! Christianity is a brotherly religion and accepts anyone and everyone who shares its values. At the same time, she does not deny different cultures and nationalities, but strives to spread faith in Christ among all peoples and cultures.
The Orthodox Church accepts all nations, including Jews, but is not ready to accept the beliefs of Judaism, because it finds them wrong. If a Jew wishes to attend worship services, no one will interfere with him or treat him with disdain. But Orthodox Christian cannot accept his beliefs because he confesses Christ, whom the Jews reject as Lord.
From this follows the conclusion that every Orthodox Christian should politely and tolerantly accept other cultures and religions, but without renouncing his national origin and faith in Jesus Christ.
The fundamental difference between Christianity and Judaism
A lot of "stationery" has been exhausted by theologians of all nations for almost 2000 years, talking about the essence of Christianity. Not knowing their works, the Russian people put their assessment into the proverb: Christ endured and commanded us».
Why did God's love for mankind not enter into life? Why have Christian powers collapsed one after another over the past three centuries: first England, then France, then Russia and Germany? Collapsed not on their own, but under the blows of Jewish capital? (Cm. ist. 14, ist. 29).
And why did Christians think more and more about the "yellow devil" - gold, and not about the salvation of the soul?
What exactly did he order to endure Christ from the New Testament And what did he urge to follow after all? What exactly did he bring to the people?
Most believe that the Sermon on the Mount (Gospel of Matthew, chapters 5, 6, 7; Luke, ch. 6, 20-49) commanded people Christian love for each other and kindness. "Christian love for your neighbor" you came up with yourself. Gospel of Luke ch. 12 states clearly:
« 51. Do you think that I have come to give peace to the earth? No, I tell you, but separation; 52. For henceforth five in one house shall be divided, three against two, and two against three. 53. the father will be against the son and the son against the father; mother against daughter, and daughter against mother; mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law».
And the Sermon on the Mount says not only the well-known words:
« 3. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
5. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
6. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.
7. Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.
8. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
9. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God
10. Blessed are those persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (…)
21. You heard what the ancients said: do not kill, whoever kills is subject to judgment.
22. But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother in vain is subject to judgment. (…)
27. You have heard what the ancients said: do not commit adultery.
28. But I tell you that everyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (…)
38. You heard what was said: an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
39. But I say to you: do not resist evil. But whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also. (…)
43. You heard what was said: love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
44. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you.
Ch. 6:14. For if you forgive people their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15. but if you do not forgive people their trespasses, then your Father will not forgive you your trespasses».
It seems that if everyone lives according to the commandments of Christ, then justice will reign on earth and the "Kingdom of Heaven" will descend to earth. All of the above is really the commandment of the Good, the Good sacrificing itself in the name of prayer for the sins of others.
They usually think that the “New Testament” denies the “Old”, that the “Great God” descended to other peoples, and not only to the God-chosen tribe, which rejected the coming of the Savior, and since then has been vegetating in sin… Make no mistake!
Read the Gospel in full and not just those places that caress your soul.
Christ said in the same "Sermon on the Mount" Gospel of Matthew, ch. 5: " 17. Do not think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill. 18. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle will pass from the law until all is fulfilled.". Naturally, we are talking about the law given by "God the Father" of Jesus through Moses. Do not turn away - "God the Father" is the essence of Jehovah. Proofs to the contrary are artificial, far-fetched, sin by substitution of concepts and are misinterpretation"New Testament". And Jesus promises that he will fulfill everything that is decided by "God" through Moses and the prophets of Israel.
Jesus came to fulfill, among other things, the promise to Israel in Deuteronomy. Ch. 28 starts with a promise: ... the Lord your God will set you above all the peoples of the earth; (…) 12. (…) and you will lend to many nations, but you yourself will not borrow[and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you]. 13. The Lord will make you[God is thy] head, and not the tail, and you will only be on top, and you will not be below ...". The promise of eternal poverty must also be fulfilled: for the poor will always be among the earth[your]". (“Deuteronomy” ch. 15:11).
And besides the parable of the neighbor (the Gospel of Luke, ch. 10:29-37) there is another attitude towards the goy. Gospel of Matthew, ch. 15:
« 22. And behold, a Canaanite woman, coming out of those places, cried out to Him: Have mercy on me, Lord, son of David, my daughter is violently mad. 23. But he did not answer her a word. And His disciples approached and asked Him: let her go, because she is screaming after us. 24. He answered and said: I am sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel (underlined by us - ed.). 25. And she, coming up, bowed to Him and said: Lord! help me. 26. He said in response: it is not good to take bread from children and throw it to dogs (emphasis added by us - author). A goy is a dog, as in the Talmud: “His (goy) seed is considered like the seed of cattle” - an addition to the treatise Ketubot. And although further "the Lord" and "descended": "27. She said: yes, Lord! but dogs also eat the crumbs that fall from the table of their masters. 28. Then Jesus answered her and said, O woman! great is thy faith; let it be to you as you wish. And her daughter was healed in that hour».
But this is an analogue of the fact that a faithful dog needs to be caressed so that it does not bite the master. And the Canaanite woman recognized her bestial, faithful state in relation to the lords of the Jews. And this is not the only place of its kind in the New Testament.
Having been baptized, the Divine Dazhgod grandchildren - SLAVES - became just working dogs"GOD" chosen slaves God's Jews. True, not too faithful dogs but became...
And everyone who reads the Gospels and other books of the "New Testament" not in the blindness of faith object to this can not: NOTHING TO RESPOND TO. For this reason, celebrating the millennium of the baptism of Rus' is the same as celebrating the anniversary of the death of the Russian Land during the arrival of Batu, who, by the way, was also brought to Rus' by Jewish emissaries.
Goodness carried by Christianity at the level consciousness, is accompanied by the introduction of Evil into the subconscious. As in the example of the Canaanite: "God" at the level of consciousness did good - healed; and at the subconscious level did Evil - turned a man into a beast. This is spiritual aggression! Christianity is a snake under the pit, vilely killing the soul.
And look, every page of the "New Testament" is full of references to parallel places in the "Old Testament". The Talmud is a commentary on the Old Testament, and on itself, intended for the Jews. "New Testament", referring all the time to the "Old Testament" - Talmud for Christians, although not named as such. It is no coincidence that the "Old Testament" is recognized by Christianity. He introduces into the subconscious of Christianity the stereotypes of the attitude towards the Jews as a people chosen by God, superior to Christians.
An example of this is the stereotype: "Love the Jews, and everything will be fine if you obey them." As long as the Pharaoh in Egypt listens to Joseph, everything is going well. When the pharaoh does not obey Moses, then all sorts of troubles befall Egypt (see "Genesis", "Exodus"). An analogue from near times: in the USA, England, there was no “anti-Semitism” as a developed social phenomenon over the past two centuries - the USA and England are flourishing. There was “anti-Semitism” in Russia, pogroms were carried out regularly - Russia collapsed and is now begging; Germany went over to state "anti-Semitism" and collapsed in the first world war and was split after the second.
And in Switzerland there is no "anti-Semitism" - and everything is fine.
But in real life, a Christian's reaction to the behavior of "God's chosen ones" in accordance with the law of Moses is at the level consciousness- to resist, but at the level subconscious- to tremble before the Jew and love him " Christian love". That is, there are grounds for a struggle within Christianity about the measure of love for the Jews, which took place during all three "Russian" revolutions. A consistent attitude, a clear position of Christianity about measure and ORIENTATION love is not and cannot be. And the Christian prays for the coming to earth of the kingdom of the Jewish God.
Christ taught to pray like this:
« Our Father who art in heaven! hallowed be thy name; let your kingdom pass away; may Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven(Matthew 6:9-10).
Christ addresses God the Father - "God", who gave the "Old Testament" and the "Law of Moses", which all Jews follow. So the prayer “Our Father” is about the coming to Earth of the kingdom of the Jewish tribal god. Make no mistake, Christianity is not an alternative to Judaism that overcame Nazism, but an export modification of Judaism, creating which the exporters pursued a specific goal.
And the Gospels speak about all this themselves.
Now let's leave aside theology and move on to an analysis of the place of Christianity in the history of Euro-American civilization.
Christianity was born in fulfillment of the will of the global Jewish predictor, who after 230 BC. e. over the next two centuries, awakened to the development of expansion. Little Judea could not crush Rome with military force, but then there was the path of aggression by the method of "cultural cooperation", as the Egyptian priests did. Judea gave God to Rome, and Rome offered "self" as a sacrifice to this "god". It was the first sacrifice, a bloody sacrifice, but not the last.
Christianity has a number of features, TOTALITY which can't be random .
The global conceptual power of the Jewish elite faced a difficult task. The cult introduced into the world external to Judaism had to have, firstly, an attraction for the ruling elite of the devoured countries, combined with an attraction for the exploited masses; secondly, it had to protect the existing Jewish conceptual power from the threat of the emergence in the countries covered by the new cult of its own conceptual power, resistant to degradation during generational change, thirdly, the ideological impact of the new cult on the public consciousness of those affected by it should guarantee the unhindered implementation of Jehovah" to the Jews, their inability to anti-Jewish rebellion, and even more so to the destruction of Judaism.
Christianity satisfies all these requirements.
It suits the ruling elite of any class-antagonistic formation. Christianity requires to be a loyal subject: "give what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God"
(from Matthew, ch. 22:21). Christ praises in parables the slaves devoted to the master: well, good and faithful servant, you were faithful in a little, I will put you over many; enter into the joy of your master", and condemns the bad slave who did not bring profit to the master:" Throw the worthless servant into outer darkness: there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Having said this, he proclaimed: He who has ears to hear, let him hear!» (Ibid., ch. 25:14-30). In a variation of the same parable in the Gospel of Luke (ch. 19:27) " Savior"comes her reprisal over the political opponents of the master, this reprisal is not plot-related to the story about the increase in the wealth of the king by the slaves: “ but those of my enemies who did not want me to reign over them, bring hither and slay before me. 28. Having said this, He(Jesus - author) went on, going up to Jerusalem". Why was this ending necessary? And then, to make clear the permissibility of reprisals against opponents for those in power. At the level consciousness"Thou shalt not kill", but on the level subconscious: "Kill", although kindness would require CONVINCING. But you can kill, especially since the road is always open for the "salvation of the soul" of any sinner. Already on Golgotha reads the "Gospel of Luke" ch. 23:
« 39. One of the hanged villains reviled him and said: if you are the Christ, save yourself and us. 40. The other, on the contrary, calmed him and said: or are you not afraid of God when you yourself are condemned to the same thing? 41. and we are condemned fair because they received what was worthy according to our deeds, but He did nothing wrong. 42. And he said to Jesus: Remember me, Lord, when you come into your kingdom! 43. And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.».
That is, you can live your whole life, but at the last moment of your life you call on the Savior - and the soul is saved, just like after a righteous life.
After an unrighteous life, a person leaves behind a strip of inferno that cripples the soul, which leads to a further expansion of inferno in life, but this is not punishable. It is a "charitable deed" to bring inferno to people. At the same time, Christianity consoles the poor, smoothing out class antagonisms; Christ is the god of the poor, he is pleasing to them too. To the poor, exploited masses, Jesus says that there is no need to envy the rich on earth: difficult(different concepts are difficult and impossible: “difficult” - “possible, but with effort”, including for a special fee; “impossible” - “impossible” - auth.) rich man enter the kingdom of heaven; And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.". (Gospel of Matthew, ch. 19:20-24). And in order to finally convince everyone, the Gospel of Luke, ch. 16 gives a parable:
« 22. The beggar (Lazarus - author) died and was carried by the Angels to the bosom of Abraham. The rich man also died, and they buried him. 23. And in hell, being in torments, he lifted up his eyes, saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24. And crying out, he said; Father Abraham! have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame. 25. But Abraham said, child! remember that you have already received your good in your life, and Lazarus - evil; now he is comforted here, while you suffer; 26. And besides all this, a great chasm has been established between us and you, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can they pass from there to us. 27. Then he said: I beg you, father, send him to my father's house, 28. for I have five brothers; let him testify to them that they also do not come to this place of torment. 29 Abraham said to him: They have Moses and the prophets; let them listen. 30. He said: No, father Abraham, but if anyone from the dead comes to them, they will repent. 31. Then Abraham said to him: If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, then if someone rises from the dead, they will not believe».
Consider this parable: it is not only about the poor and the rich.
Since Christianity relies on the "Old Testament", the "Old Testament" coupled with the "New Testament" split the integrity of the worldview of a Christian in the same way as a Jew, which has already been written about before. Similarly, the ability of the soul to self-government and self-improvement is violated. Lack of improvement degradation. And this was confirmed by the "Savior":
« 24. A student is not higher than a teacher, and a servant is not higher than his master: 25. It is enough for a student to be like his teacher, and for a servant to be like his master.» (from Matthew ch. 10:24-25).
But in time the student stands on the shoulders of the teacher, and the student is not a servant of the teacher, but the successor of Knowledge. And that teacher is bad, who did not raise the student above himself. But worst of all is the “teacher” who said: “ The student is not higher than the teacher". Jesus' thesis is correct if the teacher is the Most High Lord the Teacher, but in Scripture the word "teacher" is not capitalized, that is, the teacher is a person, not the Most High.
Impossible believe at the same time in what is intended in Christianity for the rich and for the poor - these are two mutually exclusive information layers. This mutual exclusion is partly overcome by the proverb: “ If you don't sin, you won't repent; If you don't repent, you won't be saved!» But with a split integrity of the worldview, this inconsistency is not paid attention or other interpretations are given. Although the broken integrity of the worldview inevitably leads to a violation of the harmony of the world and, consequently, "sinfulness".
Christianity, along with Judaism, guards Jewish conceptual power, a global predictor. This is manifested primarily in the fact that the biblical narrative is not annalistic. There is no time reference in it, and with the exception of individual legends, it does not have a clearly expressed rhythm with which historical processes are associated: for this reason, the “Bible” is not only outside the nature of the Earth, but also outside the time of Mankind. This is a defense aimed at suppressing the models of social time in the subconscious of a person, oppressing the very interest in the History of Humanity.
But there are a number of direct instructions aimed at protecting the global predictor.
Gospel of Luke ch. 09:62: " ... no one who puts his hand on the plow and looks back is fit for the Kingdom of God". That is, plow, guys; only forward! what you leave behind is none of your business. Don't remember the past! Knowing him is a burden!
Kozma Prutkov had a different point of view on this issue: “The present is a consequence of the past, and therefore incessantly turn your gaze to your behinds than save yourself from big mistakes". Jesus needs these notable mistakes, therefore, there is a call not to look back, repeated many times, coming from the "Old Testament". During the evacuation of Lot's family from the doomed Sodom, the angel of the Lord also issued a valuable instruction: “save your soul; do not look back…”, “Lot’s wife looked back behind him, and became a pillar of salt.” (“Genesis” ch. 19:17, 26).
Knowing the past is essential to forecasting the future. The ability to predict the future, and the predictions themselves, is the greatest mystery of the predictor, of global conceptual power.
Christianity and the Church through the Eyes of the Atheist Scientist Starchikov Georgy Ivanovich
§ 1. Christianity is the religion of the Jews and for the Jews
“This is the covenant that I am making to the house of Israel…”
The Old Testament says that God created man “in the image of God” (Genesis 1:27). Adam and Eve were Jews, so the Lord God was also a Jew. The descendants of Adam and Eve—Noah, Abraham, Moses, and others—all called the Lord “the God of the Jews” (Ex. 3:18). Jesus Christ was born from a Jewish mother and from God himself (Mary's husband, the carpenter Joseph, was also a Jew).
With such a well-known blood relationship, Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant preachers hide the main thing: Christianity was created by Jews and was intended only for Jews. And in this regard, the New Testament is not much different from the Old Testament: both speak of "God's chosen people." True, no special qualities of the Jews were singled out, and the choice of the Lord is justified by just one unintelligible argument: “You are smaller than other peoples” (Deut. 7:7).
On such a “theoretical basis”, the Almighty declared to Abraham: “And I will make of you a great nation” (Gen. 12:2). A little later, He made a clarification: “Get up, lift up the lad (i.e., the son of Isaac) ... for I will make of him a great nation” (Gen. 21:18). And then the ideologeme is constantly repeated: “The Lord, the God of the Jews” (Ex. 3:18). The Lord Himself, appearing to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, assured: “And I will be your God, and you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of Egypt” (Ex., 6:2, 7). Or again: “Says the Lord, I will be the God of all the tribes of Israel, and they will be my people” (Jer. 31:1).
By virtue of what has been said, the Lord saved God's chosen Jews from death, led them out of Egyptian captivity, provided them with victory in battles with numerous enemies, and performed many other miracles for them. True, sometimes He punished them. Naturally, faith in God, who terrifies and works miracles, was preserved only among the Jews.
The birth of Jesus Christ, presented to the world by the Magi as the "King of the Jews" (Matt. 2:2), initially did not give any hope for non-Jews. God the Son was born into a purely Jewish family, circumcised on the 8th day, studied (if he studied at all) in the synagogue, observed all the “laws of Moses”. And only when he was 30 years old, he began to preach a doctrine that made significant adjustments to the covenants and practice of God the Father, in particular, to soften His cruel attitude towards people. This circumstance, as well as the promise of a happy afterlife turned the eyes of the Jews, pagans and atheists in the direction of Jesus. Thus, for many peoples, the illusion of an international teaching arose, which has existed for twenty centuries.
However, John the Baptist warned those gathered at the Jordan River that he had come to baptize in water, so that “He would be revealed to Israel” (John 1:31). And Jesus himself, having become a preacher, declared without alternative: “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matt. 15:24). And His disciples-apostles (except one - all Jews, including Judas) accordingly called Jesus "Rabbi", i.e. rabbi (from the Hebrew rabbi - my teacher) (Matthew, 26:49; John, 1:38) .
Here is what the apostle Paul said about this: “We are Jews by nature” (Gal. 2:15) and “know, then, that those who believe are the sons of Abraham” (Gal. 3:7) and further: “We, brethren, children of the promise according to Isaac” (Gal. 4:28).
After the death of Christ, the apostle Peter “caught men” among the Jews and, addressing them, said: “But you are a chosen generation” (1 Pet. 2:9). However, meeting misunderstanding and even hostility on the part of the Jews (the apostles heard “crucify him” more than once and almost all were executed themselves), they were forced to expand their audience. Even the apostle Paul wondered: “Is God really the God of the Jews only, and not also of the Gentiles?” (Rom. 3:29). According to the Russian compilers of the encyclopedia, the preachers so far only addressed the Jews and partly to the Hellenes in Antioch (the Greek language dominated the Roman Empire at that time), and Peter even began to baptize without preliminary circumcision. It was in Antioch (the center of modern Turkey) that converts first began to be called Christians [Brockhaus, vol. XXXVIIa, p. 639]. And only then did the disciples preach there, “where there is neither Greek nor Jew, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free, but Christ is all and in all” (Col. 3:11). Thus, Christianity found supporters among those nationalities for which it was not intended during the life of Christ.
But after many centuries, objective Russian encyclopedists came to an uncompromising conclusion that "the main thing of the Messiah was the overthrow of the Roman power, and then the establishment of the political world dominion of Israel." Moreover, they argued that initially “Christians were considered Jews” [Brockhaus, vol. XXXVIIa, p. 637, 660]. Such is the cruel truth that Christian churches, sects and, of course, the faithful will never recognize.
The current ROC (like the RCC) used a different option. She acknowledged that Judaism is the older and more respected religion from which Christianity originated. She invited the authorities to officially celebrate one Christian and one Jewish holiday. At the insistence of the patriarchy in the secularist Russian Federation, Christmas - the birth of the "King of the Jews" (Matt. 2:2) and Easter - the Jewish holiday of the exodus of Jews from Egypt began to be considered non-working days. From here to old testament The command of the Lord: "Let the children of Israel celebrate the Passover at its appointed time." And the corresponding punishment: whoever “does not celebrate the Passover, that soul will be cut off from his people ... that man will bear the sin” (Num., 9:2, 13). Thus, the Orthodox (as well as atheists, Muslims, and other Russians) are forced to celebrate two Judeo-Christian holidays, and the grateful Jewish oligarchs who control the media allocate hours and pages for Orthodox propaganda, lengthy reports of solemn prayers, showing churches (only in There are more than 400 of them in Moscow) and praying parishioners.

1). 99% of the Orthodox do not even suspect that Christians, Jews and Muslims believe in the same God. His name is Elohim (Allah).
Despite the fact that this god has a name, he does not have a proper name. That is, the word Elohim (Allah) simply means "God".
2). Some Orthodox do not even realize that Christians include all people who believe that Jesus existed. And Catholics, and Protestants, and Orthodox.
But today there is not a single reliable confirmation of the existence of Jesus, but Mohammed was a historical figure.
3). The mythical Jesus was a Jew by faith and a Jew by nationality. Clever Jews, who were haunted by the fact that only the clans of Kogans and Levites rule the Jewish flock, decided to branch off and create their own office, which they later called "Christianity."
4). Any religion has the purpose of its existence only two things. They should be remembered, no matter who hangs what noodles on your ears.
The first is enrichment.
The second is habit
Priests of one or another cult enrich themselves. The people are getting used to. Any state supports the main religion, because the church helps to turn people into a herd.
In Christianity, they say so - the flock, that is, the herd. A flock that a shepherd or shepherd tends. The shepherd cuts the wool from the lamb and admonishes before making a kebab out of it.
5). As soon as a person is driven into a herd with the help of religion, herd feelings and herd thoughts appear in him. He ceases to think logically and ceases to use the organs of perception. Everything he sees, hears and says is a set of stamps used in the herd.
6). In 1054 there was a division Christian Church on Roman Catholic Church in the West with a center in Rome and Orthodox - in the East with a center in Constantinople.
All the theories and justifications why this happened are not worth a damn (we will return to this later), the main problem was superiority. Who should rule - the pope or the patriarch.
As a result, everyone began to consider himself the main one.
The guys reasoned like this: friendship is friendship, and tobacco is apart. Money account love.
7). In 988 Prince Vladimir of Kiev decides to be baptized by the Church of Constantinople. For many centuries, the church has been burning dissent and polytheism in Rus' with fire and sword.
Almost completely destroyed all the documents relating to the pre-Christian period.
A whole class of people, who in Rus' were called magi, sorcerers, witches, sorcerers, was almost completely destroyed.
That is, the layer of ancient knowledge and skills, the primordial language in which people communicated with nature and the gods, all the experience that the people accumulated over the centuries, was erased from people's memory.
8). It is believed that the veduns (from the Sanskrit word "know", "know") were a kind of conscience of the tribe, its moral and spiritual guide: "co-" + "-message", i.e. "common message", "common knowledge". Conscience is a way of a person's communication with God by comparing his moral standards with the standards of those around him and with the experience of his ancestors.
A people with a conscience did not need such instruments as the state, religion, propaganda, the death penalty.
There is an opinion that in view of the vast territory of the Eurasian continent, the remnants of conscience have been preserved somewhere in the outback of Russia.
Therefore, the genetic memory of Russians sacredly keeps faith in the existence of justice (the root of the "Vedas", by the way) of conscience and truth.
For their evil temper, greed and black cassocks, priesthood in Rus' was nicknamed "the crow".
9). The destruction of "conscience" by Christianity in the West occurred much later, it was more total and technological.
The death camps began precisely with the European Inquisition, when sorcerers and witches throughout Europe were identified, recorded, sentenced and burned. All without a trace.
Truth and conscience in the West have been replaced by "law". Western man does not believe in any hypothetical justice, but he believes in the laws, and even adheres to them.
10). The first crusade began in 1096, and the last ended in 1444. For 350 years, peaceful Christianity, in the name of Jesus, destroyed countries, cities and entire nations. And this was done, as you probably understand, not only by Catholicism or some kind of Teutonic Order. Dozens of tribes that existed on the territory of Muscovy were also forcibly converted to Orthodoxy or wiped off the face of the earth.
eleven). In foreign sources, the "Orthodox" church is written as "orthodox". We are orthodox guys.
12). In the 1650s - 1660s, the so-called "split" took place in Muscovy. We will not go into too much detail, we will only say that the reason for the church reforms carried out by Patriarch Nikon was only two things - a sharp difference between the church orders in Muscovy and in the Greek church.
In fact, the Moscow church turned into an unauthorized religious organization, striking visiting Greek priests with its savagery. This became especially evident in view of the annexation of Little Russia. Little Russia separated from Poland, recognized Alexei Mikhailovich as its tsar and became part of the Muscovite state as its inseparable part, but the church and ritual practice of the South Russians converged with the then Greek and differed from the Moscow one.
It was necessary to urgently unify all this.
And the second. The main political aspect of the reform was the “Byzantine charm”, that is, the conquest of Constantinople and the revival of the Byzantine Empire with the help and expense of Russia. In this regard, Tsar Alexei wanted to eventually inherit the throne of the Byzantine emperors, and Patriarch Nikon wanted to become the Ecumenical Patriarch.
Like this. Thirst for power. Thirst for superiority.
Thanks to this, the Orthodox flock (remember what flock means, #necro_tv?), led by pastors, hunted schismatics who did not want to rebuild for another three hundred years.
So, perestroika is not only the subversion of Herr Peter and Mikhail Gorbachev.
13). If anyone doesn't know, I'll let you know. The only thing that distinguishes the Catholic Church from the Orthodox is called the "filioque" (Latin filioque - "and the Son"), an addition to the Latin translation of the Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed, adopted by the Western (Roman) Church in the XI century in the dogma of the Trinity: on the descent The Holy Spirit is not only from God the Father, but "from the Father and the Son."
That is, the Jewish Elohim in Orthodoxy is the only source of the holy spirit. But Catholics believe that the holy spirit also comes from the Jew Jesus of Nazareth.
Of course, these are formalities, everything always rests on money and power.
14). But here's the problem.
In 1438-1445, the XVII Ecumenical Council, called the Ferrara-Florence Cathedral, takes place. Such councils are called ecumenical because they are attended by representatives of all Christian churches.
Solutions ecumenical councils are binding on everyone (like the decisions of the Hague Court) for both Catholics and Orthodox.
At this council, the disagreements between the Western and Eastern churches were discussed for a long time, and in the end a decision was made to unite. The council ended with the signing of the union.
Guess who a few years later denied the decision of the cathedral?
That's right, Muscovy.
15). What's the point of giving priority? So we graze our own herd, we are our own bosses, and here the Pope will steer.
To the two main goals of any religion - the enrichment of the clergy, the obscenity (stupefaction) of the masses, we add a third, empirically identified - the thirst for power.
In Christianity, the most important of the mortal sins is "pride".
The lust for power is pride.
