What kind of creature is a succubus? What's happened.
Very often, conversations about such otherworldly entities as incubi and succubi cause a smile, due to associations with sexual adventures. However, it's not all that simple. Incubi and succubi are dark, otherworldly entities that feed on the sexual energy of mere mortals by engaging in sexual relations with them. Most often, they visit the victim when he arrives in a half-asleep state, paralyzing the physical body, soul and will. During sexual contact, the victim experiences both the highest degree of pleasure and fear.
Sexual energy is the most important source of nutrition for such energy vampires. They have been visiting people since ancient times under the guise of succubi and incubi. What are these sleep demons?
Difference Between Incubi and Succubi
Incubi are dissolute demons who visit young maidens at night, seduce them and have sexual intercourse with them.
A succubus (from the Latin succuba, concubine) is a demoness who comes to young men at night and causes them to have voluptuous dreams. Demonologists believe that a succubus is the appearance of Satan in female guise. Succubi preferred to seduce and then have sexual intercourse with hermits, monks and priests. However, if you believe the legends, they did not disdain the sinful male population.
What do succubi look like?
It is difficult to answer the question of what succubi look like. They can take on a variety of forms. Often the succubus is described as a beautiful young maiden, although such a description is suitable for all goddesses and demonesses of love and fornication of the Middle Ages and the ancient world. In the occult scripture Compendium Maleficarum, which was written in the early 15th century, it is written: “A succubus can take the form of a beautiful woman, sometimes she appears in the form of a snake or an invisible force.”
Night guest. Eyewitness Innokenty tells
I have been experiencing all the actions of this incomprehensible force for ten years since I was 15 years old. I go to bed at 11 pm. And after an hour I begin to feel a slight shaking of the bed. Then, something barely perceptibly rolls under the blanket and as if warm air envelops my entire body. This is a “friend”, or maybe already a “wife”, refined in her desires, every night, after midnight, she comes to see me on a date. I haven’t felt fear for a long time—I’m used to it.
Succubus is the sweet horror of the night, a deadly temptation, and hundreds of other epithets can be chosen for this creature. But who are succubi really? Why do they attract and frighten people at the same time? And what do they have to do with the sexual side of life?
Meaning of the term
The term "succubus" comes from the Latin word "succubare", which means "to lie under", in this case meaning to lie under a man.
A succubus is a demonic lover who appears to representatives of the stronger sex in the form of a beautiful seductive girl or woman whose sexual charms are impossible to resist.
History of succubi
The belief in the existence of succubi has been widespread since ancient times. So, in Greek mythology we meet Lamia - an evil spirit in the form of a snake, with the head and beautiful breasts of a woman. Once upon a time she really was a woman, and moreover, the mistress of Zeus. But after the jealous Hera killed the children of Lamia, she, in order to save her own life, was forced to hide from the angry goddess in a cave, where she turned into an evil spirit who kidnapped human children at night, and Lamia also seduced young men, made love with them, sucking from them all the juices of life.
But, perhaps, the belief in succubi reached its greatest flourishing in the Middle Ages, which is not surprising, if you remember what kind of sexual hysteria generally existed at that time due to the pressure of Christianity and views on physicality and all its manifestations as a form of sin.
How do they become succubi?
As a rule, succubi become succubi after death, usually women who experience an irresistible desire for intimacy with their chosen one, so they come at night to continue copulation with them. Naturally, not every woman became a succubus, but only those who died in the prime of life, never having received full satisfaction of the carnal side of love.
According to some beliefs, the succubi were not actually the dead themselves, but the devil took their form.
Features of the behavior of a succubus
In addition to its incredible sexual charm and erotic appeal, the succubus also has the ability to copulate only at night, and at the first rays of the dawn sun or at the first crow of a rooster - to disappear.
A succubus could take possession of its victim in a dream, simply by dreaming of a man and having sex with him in a dream.
In addition, for a fantastic night and love games with a succubus, a person pays with his life, since this demonic lover sucks out of a man not only his seed, but also his life force. Therefore, often the next morning those who had sex with a succubus are found dead.
Lilith - the most famous succubus
Perhaps the most popular succubus in world culture is Lilith. Her name means "night" in Hebrew. According to Jewish demonology, Lilith is a female evil spirit, a succubus.
Her name goes back to three Sumerian demons - Lil, Lilith and Ardat Lili. Lilu was an incubus and Lilitu was a succubus.
According to one legend, the succubus Lilith was the first wife of Adam, so she is often also called the “first Eve.” Just like him, she was originally created from clay. But immediately after creation, a dispute arose between them; Lilith claimed that she was equal to Adam, but he proved the opposite. And then, without convincing her husband, Lilith flew away. But over the Red Sea she was overtaken by angels sent by God with orders to return to Adam and be in his submission. She refused, and then the angels took an oath from her that she would not enter a house in which she would see them or their names.
According to the mystical book of Kabbalah “Zohar”, Lilith, after Adam abandoned her, became the wife of Samael, so she was called the mother of demons.
Another legend says that Lilith subsequently cohabited with Adam, even when he already had Eve. As a result, various spirits and demons were born from their union. Lilith's goal is to take possession of men against their will in order to bear children from them. Therefore, the Talmud recommends that men never spend the night alone at home. But, in addition, rumor attributed to Lilith the desire to harm women in labor, spoil children, steal them, replace them or suck their blood. Such a disease as infertility was also attributed to her.

Tastes are different and even very different. There are always people who are looking for an answer to the question of how to summon a succubus. Everyone may have their own reasons for doing this, but before embarking on rituals, you should weigh the pros and cons as carefully as possible.
In the article:
How to summon a succubus - a little theory
In classical demonology and the Christian tradition, a succubus is a seductive demon who appears before its victims in a female form, possessing incredible bed skills and amazing beauty. However, this demon, according to old legends, drains its victims dry in one sexual act, which no one can refuse. There is some truth in this interpretation, however, the information that a succubus can take a soul and immediately kill the victim is fundamentally incorrect.
If we consider the succubus to be a demonic entity, then most practicing magicians in this area agree that succubi and incubi (the male embodiment of the demon) do indeed feed on the sexual energy of their victims, however, they are in no way interested in their death. After all, every sexual act is a tremendous release of energy, and spending time searching for a new “client” and adapting to him is much more difficult than constantly feeding yourself from the same person.
Another version says that the succubus is nothing more than tulpa- a figment of the imagination of the caller himself. There is some truth in this, however, most likely this is a separate object of magical and psychological sciences, which some, for simplicity, call a succubus. The essence of this version is that the succubus appears from the fantasies of the person himself and is a consequence of developed self-hypnosis along with sexual dissatisfaction.
It even has common features with schizophrenia, since, in fact, a tangible and felt hallucination is the first sign of such a disorder. However, since other symptoms do not appear in any way, and a person can truly be a normal member of society, even having his own tulpa, it does not bring serious problems in life.
Still others believe that succubi are not demons, but just a separate, specific subspecies of spirits of sexuality that help people solve their problems. At the same time, during contact there is a mutually beneficial exchange of energy. Of course, not every one of these spirits is useful - some of them may indeed have too much of an “appetite” and are capable of depleting their victim in literally a matter of hours.
It is impossible to say for sure which of the above versions is one hundred percent correct, but, most likely, each of them has its right to exist, and succubi themselves are called both demons and small spirits, or the fruits of imagination and self-hypnosis. But remember that no matter what the succubus is, calling him is a much more dangerous undertaking than calling small drums.
Ritual of summoning a succubus with a call to Lilith
First of all, we should consider the “canonical” methods of summoning succubi, emanating from the near-Christian tradition. According to her, the ancestor of succubi is Lilith- the first woman created by God from clay and subsequently became a demoness, personifying debauchery, lust and animal sexuality.
Accordingly, the most effective and best way would be to directly appeal to Lilith. Particular care should be taken with the ritual, since the use of any protective circles and symbols will negate the result - after all, the summoning of a succubus is carried out precisely to satisfy its desires, which the demon cannot do without reaching you.
Any inaccuracy or mistake can be fatal. For example, you can open a corridor to demonic dimensions, but thanks to the wrong ritual, some other demon will come to you, from which you will not be protected in any way. On the other hand, the lack of protection greatly simplifies the ritual, so it will be quite difficult to make a mistake.
So, for the ritual itself you will need a mirror, one candle and a preliminary week of fasting - at least abstaining from excess food, entertainment and, of course, sexual intercourse or self-gratification. This fast is necessary so that the succubus can better sense your hunger and come to your call.
When you are ready, focus on the image of your ideal sexual partner. Don't pay too much attention to your immediate appearance. Just create in your mind the image of the most desirable woman and her line of behavior, imagine what exactly you want to get from sexual contact with a demon. When you tune in to this image, light a candle and place it between you and the mirror. Say out loud:
Lilith! I appeal to you! Send me your child! Hear me, Lilith!
After this, you should immediately put out the candle and go to bed. The succubus will not be completely realistic; it will come to you in a state of dozing, half-asleep. If you haven't worked with evocation(summoning demons), the first contact can be very scary for you. Most often, succubi paralyze their victims, feeding not only on sexual energy, but also on fear.
However, even in this state you can get truly unearthly pleasure. But beware of getting addicted to it and becoming dependent. Keep yourself in good shape and don’t forget about your normal life, and then the succubus will not only not harm you, but will also become an additional incentive to move forward, ridding you of excess sexual energy and allowing you to focus on something more important.
How to create a succubus tulpa
To change your own consciousness using autosuggestion, you will need long training, and this method takes more time than any other. You must think through the image of your desired sexual partner as carefully as possible and think about him, visualizing him, for at least four hours a day. At the same time, an additional advantage will be drawings and a diary in which you can begin to write the story of your “relationship” with this creature.
In addition, you should not focus on appearance alone. Constantly try to imagine the touch of this creature, its voice, smell, taste and breath. Daily practice for several weeks will lead to the fact that you will be able to call up this image at any time.
Subsequently, this image will begin to live an independent life. The advantage of such a “succubus” is that it may not just be a way of sexual release. Such a tulpa can become a good conversationalist and help you understand yourself better. In addition, since all the behavior of this subject, his knowledge, skills and memory are actually your subconscious, with the help of a tulpa you can remember something long forgotten and begin to remember the environment and other little things much better.
Sending a succubus as a method of curse
Succubi can not only be called upon to satisfy their own needs, but also offered “for sale” by black magicians for their clients. They can also be used as an extremely sophisticated type of damage, which will be extremely difficult to get rid of, since, at its core, a succubus is not a completely evil entity and has nothing in common with traditional ones.
To carry out the ritual, you need almost the same appeal to Lilith as in the case of calling a succubus for yourself, however, in this situation you will need additional preparations. At the same time, you need to summon the most cruel and hungry demon possible, which means he will be more aggressive.
To make the call, you will need to prepare two large mirrors so that along the resulting “corridor” the demon can not only come to you, but also go to the victim. You will also need some personal item of the victim, or part of her body (hair, nail), or a photograph. In addition, you should prepare a protective circle for yourself in advance, around which five candles will be used.
So, at three o'clock in the morning of any day except Sunday, lay out or draw with chalk a circle in which draw a pentagram. At the end of each star ray, place and light a candle. Place one mirror on one side of the protective circle, opposite one of the rays of the star, and the second on the other side. Near the mirror, to which the beam of the pentagram is pointing, place a thing that personifies the victim, and sit with your back to it in the center of the circle. Tune in specifically to the victim, think about her, her vices and passions. After this, say the challenge phrase:
I appeal to you, O Lilith! Send your child to (name of the victim) and let him eat to the fullest!
Peer into the corridor. You will need to sit in a protective circle, looking in the mirror, until the morning, while the candles around you must be burning, so make sure that they are long and thick enough. You cannot use candles blessed in church. Falling asleep is also prohibited. In the morning, candle stubs should be taken to the crossroads and buried there.
The succubus will begin to visit the victim the day after the ritual. At the same time, despite the enormous energy costs, the target of the succubus’ attack will never be able to get rid of such an obsession, but will become addicted to the demon’s visits as if it were the most powerful drug. It is extremely difficult even for experienced magicians to get rid of a succubus, and no one could resist the temptation - even the most persistent priests and hermits, who often found themselves seduced by these creatures.
Other dangers and methods of expelling succubi
In addition to the fact that any type of “succubus”, one way or another, feeds on human energy, it should be remembered that the church has an extremely negative attitude towards any rituals associated with appealing to demonic forces. If you are, then get ready for the fact that you will begin to experience difficulties while being in church, and icons and crosses will begin to cause you severe discomfort, even physical pain.
In addition, if your energy weakens too much, the succubus will sooner or later be able to kill you, or decide to “drink” you to the bottom in order to go in search of a new victim. Therefore, if you are, try to compensate for the loss of personal energy in other ways - often be in the fresh air and nature, play sports, meditate and develop. Of course, you can also engage in energy vampirism, but at the same time, changes may begin to occur in the appearance of the succubus and in its behavior, as the entity begins to adapt to the energy, and, accordingly, to the desires of other people.
If you want to know how to expel a succubus, then getting rid of it is somewhat similar to exorcism rituals. Direct expulsion is very difficult to carry out, since it will have to occur at the moment a person falls asleep and, in fact, this entity visits him. However, this method is the only one that can give a 100% result. Another option is to constantly saturate yourself with good and bright energy. If you want to get rid of a succubus, start going to church, do a lot of good deeds and be sure to fast. As a result, the succubus simply will not be able to receive the “animal” energy of lust from you, and the energy of true love is fatal for him.
But this method will not help if the succubus is a tulpa. To get rid of a tulpa, you need the same long-term self-hypnosis and corresponding visualization of how you drive it out of your life. Ignoring your subconscious self, or visiting a psychotherapist, can also help. However, your tulpa, as a person with her own (albeit your) consciousness, will resist any such attempts.
It happens that at night you feel that someone is lying on your bed, gently stroking you and you feel unprecedented excitement. Then something happens that people forget fear and look forward to their nightly lovers, despite the feeling of disgust. These stories are as old as time. In Russian beliefs, it was believed that the Evil One comes to the wives of soldiers or widows. And in foreign literature there is a clear classification. Succubi seduce men, incubi seduce women.
As a rule, they come when a person is in a drowsy state, and completely paralyze his body and will. The idea of an incubate combines two ideas: the first of them is about the heaviness that immobilizes and suffocates a person at night; the second and probably secondary is about nocturnal sexual intercourse with some non-human creature (demon).
As long as the belief in succubi and incubi exists, the number of explanations for the nature of succubi is just as great. And researchers from different eras saw a wide variety of phenomena in succubi.
For early demonologists, apparently, succubi were a kind of dream demons, real beings of the non-human world. In the Middle Ages, their reality was not questioned, only the interpretation changed. Now these were either messengers of the devil, or he himself in female guise. Later, when it is noticed that the appearance of such mysterious lovers often occurs in a special “borderline” state of consciousness: between sleep and wakefulness, for example, skeptics will attribute succubi to various kinds of hallucinations and fantasies of a sexual nature, and occultists to the manifestation of the influence of astral light on a person.
These disgusting entities had the ability to take on a seductive bodily shell and appeared to people, as a rule, at night. An ethereal creature in the guise of a man was called an incubus (“lying on”). A demon in female guise - a succubus (“to lie under”) - appeared before men.
The incredible sexual attractiveness of these creatures was explained not only by their seductive appearance, but also by their ability to subtly sense the emotions and secret desires of a person. A luxurious woman or a young man full of strength - no matter what form the demons took - intercourse with them brought unearthly pleasure, which was accompanied by inexplicable fear and confusion.
The appearance of these insidious representatives of the dark world deserves special attention. A succubus is always a maiden of unearthly beauty and ideal build, generating unbridled desire in her lover-victim.
The situation is different with the appearance of the incubus. The shameless seducing demon could appear in the form of various animals, birds or snakes. The image of an incredibly handsome, full of strength man could be replaced by the devilish appearance of an ugly creature similar to a goat. It was believed that women were much more sinful than men, and had a wide variety of, often base and perverted, secret desires. For this reason, attractive appearance was not as important for an incubus as it was for a succubus. Often the tempters took the form of their victim's deceased lover.
Succubi and incubi embody unfulfilled desires. All fantasies, even the wildest ones. The stronger a person’s desire, the more energy the demon will receive, so everything is used - from an erotic appearance to the most secret fetishes and desires.
The nature of incubi and succubi
Who are they, the rulers of transcendental love? The most common explanation is given, as always, by the ubiquitous psychiatrists: this, they say, is a special form of self-hypnosis, when a person cannot realize the moment of transition of consciousness into a trance state. It is curious that the same psychiatrists, when their patients try to explain their “excessive” sensations with hypnosis, make a diagnosis: Kandinsky-Clerambault syndrome, or, more simply, delusion.
Church professors believe that these are demons - messengers of the devil. It is in this exquisite way that they destroy human souls, that is, they lead them to eternal destruction. But who is the devil? Evil spirit - answers the church. What is spirit? Not a single religion has a qualitative definition for it - a definition of its essence, and not a description of its properties.
The most probable hypothesis still seems to be the existence of a special, intangible world. There is no space and time - in our understanding of these categories. But it is possible that that world intersects at some level with our world, and this makes it possible for “otherworldly” inhabitants to explore our lives and ourselves.
Of course, the actions of incubi and succubi and evil spirits in general can hardly be called research, since they are disgusting and cause a feeling of disgust. But let's look at ourselves: who can guarantee that mice and rabbits experience joy when we vivisect them?
Modern evidence of encounters with incubi and succubi
Rimma talks about sexual contacts with an incubus as follows:
“When Someone comes, a chill spreads down her back, and goosebumps appear. She feels footsteps, the bed squanders when he lies down next to her. No matter how she lies, Someone climbs up from behind, she does not see him. At these moments, she is overcome by numbness , she cannot, for example, turn over from her stomach, look at him. She says that only once she managed to overcome her fear and looked back when he was leaving the bed. She saw a whitish substance similar to a human silhouette. Everything was indistinct, but it was as if his eyes very beautiful, large and expressive.
“One day I saw his hand when he put it in front of me,” she recalled. - An ordinary male hand, sparse hair is clearly visible, the hand is cool. I tried to turn around, but he pressed on my shoulder, preventing me from looking. And he removed his hand."
Rimma says that sexual intercourse always occurs only in the position from the back. Feels the weight of a normal large man. Rimma actively objects to the assumption that she is dreaming all this, and that there is actually no physical presence, because all the accompanying sounds - the creaking of the bed, breathing, noise - all this persists. But such meetings did not take place with their husbands. Usually the creature came when her husband left for work early in the morning, and she had to get up later. Sexual intercourse always ended with orgasm, and Rimma noticed that she regulates the onset of orgasm herself and achieves it when she wants: either soon, or over time. It's as if the creature guesses or knows her physiology.
Rimma firmly states that she receives pleasure from alien beings much sharper and better than from earthly men. Although she does not refuse earthly ones and regrets that her marriages or courtships fall apart.
I.R. from Vyatka:
“It all started in 1986. We were sleeping with my husband. Or rather, he was sleeping, and I heard some noise from the side. Then a man’s voice started talking to me, someone was stroking me, as if with his hands, kissing me and generally having an affair with me connection, like a man with a woman. And something strange is happening to me: my arms and legs don’t obey me, as if I were completely petrified. And only my mind is on strike against this violence.
This happened to me many times afterwards. Sometimes I managed to drive him away, sometimes he took possession of me. Then I physically felt his strong, elastic body. He seemed handsome to me, and one day I mentally asked him: “Show me your face.” And what did I see! Such a freak - covered in thorns, his face is fiery, his eyes are burning. After this time, spots that looked like splayed fingers began to appear on my body frequently in the morning, but they quickly disappeared. And when I was pregnant, I told him not to pester me anymore. And he growls: “Don’t get your hopes up, the child was conceived not from my husband, but from me.” I’m afraid to tell my husband about this, but I don’t know what to do..."
Fortunately, the fears of I.R. were in vain, the child was born absolutely normal, without any abnormalities. Now he is already in his ninth year, he looks very much like his father (I.R.’s husband). Like all boys, he is mischievous, but he studies well. The night visitor sometimes still visits I.R., but since then it’s like he’s taken too much water in his mouth.
Love demons did not bypass the stronger half of humanity. True, all demonologists are unanimously convinced that there are ten times fewer succubi than incubi. Perhaps this is true; cases of succubat are indeed less common. It used to happen that a succubus had the appearance of a beautiful woman. Lately, the invisible people have been acting more and more. Here is an excerpt from a letter from a Moscow artist:
“I experience all the actions of this force at night. I go to bed exactly at 23 o’clock. But then, after five to ten minutes, I begin to feel a slight but frequent vibration, shaking of my bed. Then something barely perceptible rolls under the blanket and as if elastic air envelops my body. The blanket begins to float above me... This is a “friend”, “bride”, and possibly “wife” (I live alone), mysterious, more refined in her feelings and desires, every day, without delay, at 11:10 p.m. she comes to see me on a date. She immediately, as if bored by the day's separation, begins to caress me with light, airy touches. The feeling of fear is long gone - caressed, accustomed to these "tendernesses", but still disgusting , unpleasant. But the most unpleasant thing for me is that after all the gentle touches I begin to feel the impact on the sexual center... I never allow myself to be brought to climax - I sharply throw up the blanket and say seven times: “Don’t touch!” stops, but after about an hour it starts again. And so three or four times a night you have to take up your shield and sword..."
“I’ve been living with succubi for a year now. I used to think that it was all fiction, but an incident from my life helped me realize that demons live among us. One girl came to live with me. At first it seemed okay. But then for some reason I I began to constantly see dreams in which I have sex with a girl who lives with me. This girl is my relative. After such dreams, you lose a lot of strength, it’s as if a hole opens in you (energetically sucking strength and giving in return to someone unknown negativity). After living for several months, I began to wonder why I was having dreams and feeling tired, and out of sinful will, I turned to a sorcerer. He advised me to move out; I was being tormented by a demoness (succubus). It was very strange to believe it."
I talked about views on the nature and appearance of succubi in different periods of history. Now let's move on to something more interesting - who should we consider them here and now? From the entire historical excursion, one point can be singled out - the 13th century. It was then that two theories of the origin of succubi were formed. Either they are small demons or they are not small. The difference here is fundamental. All mythological and supernatural creatures of the pre-Christian era turned into small demons. Along the way, they were credited with an evil disposition, a desire for vices, and a disgusting appearance with horns and hooves. In order to explain where this evil spirits came from, the church developed appropriate theories. According to one of them, succubi are the offspring of Lilith, Adam’s first wife, who wanted equal rights with him, was expelled from Eden for this, and her daughters became succubi and other evil spirits. “Not small” demons are fallen angels who, seeing the descendants of Adam and Eve, decided to descend from heaven and “enter the daughters of men.” God didn’t like this and the angels were thrown out into the cold along with their leader Lucifer. And the descendants of the angels were washed away by the Great Flood.
Both theories are well developed and seem logical. One could say that it is up to the reader which one to choose. If trust in the Christian Church is great, then believe in the version with fallen angels. If not, then derive the succubus lineage from pre-Christian goddesses. But we'll dig deeper. The legs of both versions grow from the Bible, or rather from the Old Testament.
Old Testament, Pentateuch of Moses.
1 When people began to multiply on earth and were born to them
daughters,
2 Then the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they
beautiful, and they took them as wives, whichever one chose.
3 And the Lord [God] said, My Spirit will not be forever.
despised by men [these] because they are flesh; let
Their days will be a hundred and twenty years.
4 At that time there were giants on the earth, especially since
time, when the sons of God began to come in to the daughters of men, and
they began to give birth to them: these are strong, glorious people from ancient times.
5 And the Lord [God] saw that the wickedness of man was great
earth, and that all the thoughts and thoughts of their hearts were all evil
time;
6 And the Lord repented that he had created man on the earth, and
He grieved in His heart.
7 And the Lord said, I will destroy from the face of the earth the people whom I
created everything from man to beasts and creeping things and birds of the air
I will destroy them, for I repented that I created them.
“And they began to give birth to them” is the key phrase. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God took away the ability to conceive from the fallen angels after the flood, and therefore women should have children from their relationship with them. Already in the Middle Ages, Christians themselves abandoned this statement and came up with another: a demon in the role of a succubus takes the seed from a man, and immediately, before it cools down, “blows” it into the woman. This point of view was formulated by the Parisian Bishop William of Auvergne in the first half of the 13th century. It doesn’t look like the antediluvian angels at all, right? Modern science is driving the final nail into the coffin. Pregnancies from a holy (or not so holy) spirit have not been recorded over the past couple of hundred years.
Therefore, the only option left is with demonized goddesses. And the next question: how demonized? From the point of view of the church, succubi are almost avatars of the Devil, filled with vice to the very tips of their horns. The desire for evil is in their blood. Is it possible to discard this opinion and say that in fact succubi are white and fluffy?
Many nations have references to creatures similar to succubi. But only medieval Christians encountered them so often. This, apparently, was facilitated by the peculiarity of limiting in every possible way the worldly needs of the human body, simply declaring them sinful. Other world religions tended to be more tolerant or more introspective. Not “this is a sin because God said so,” but “think for yourself why this is worth giving up.” In non-Christian (and early Christian) sources, the image of succubi was very ambiguous, sometimes good, sometimes evil, but more often pursuing their own goals and using people to achieve them. This is what we will build on.
The world of people is constantly changing. The world of the Gods is also changing. Some Gods leave, forgotten by everyone, others gain strength. Some become demons, some split into several entities. It is logical to assume that succubi, as a class, change over time. If so, then centuries of Christianity did not have the best effect on them. On the one hand, their egregor increased due to “propaganda” among people, and on the other, their reputation was significantly tarnished. The modern noosphere has formed a set of stereotypes about many ideas-things in the minds of every person. An angel is a good creature with wings and dressed all in white, a demon is black or red, horned-tailed, evil. These are archetypes. But we get what we are ready to receive. Even if you firmly decide for yourself that the angel is not so good, the same assessment drilled into you in deep childhood will seep out from the subconscious. Considering that communication with succubi occurs in a borderline state of consciousness, when a person’s mind is oppressed and the gates to the subconscious are wide open, the effect is enhanced. In practice, this means that succubi may appear more evil, dangerous, and unpleasant than they actually are.
Gender of succubus.
Succubus, succub is a masculine word. For Christians, ALL angels and demons were male. The Jewish heritage made us simply ignore women, considering them something like cattle. By the way, it is precisely because of this attitude that the Bible is replete with phrases like “Isaac begat Jacob, Jacob begat David, David begat...”. And not a word about women. Therefore, it was believed that a succubus and an incubus are the same creature, and its gender is male. But this is from the point of view of Christianity, and, as already mentioned, it is not entirely true. In the mythology of all nations, succubus-like creatures that come to men in dreams have always been female. And those who come to women are masculine, which is quite logical. They weren't trying to call white black or women men. A more practical approach: what you look at is what you see. And there is also a third point of view. If you look at it, the concept of “sex” is incorrect to apply to creatures that are not capable of reproducing sexually (that is, to form something new by combining two different principles).
Summing up, we get that succubi and incubi have no gender in our usual understanding. The absence of a physical body makes the choice of gender an optional condition of existence. The succubus/incubus can choose it based on personal preference or not choose it at all. When calling, you need to take this moment into account and indicate how feminine/masculine a creature you are expecting.
Appearance of a succubus.
Upon contact, a succubus always looks like it pleases a person. Succubi extract from the consciousness and subconscious the ideal of beauty and sexuality, and then embody it. Their appearance is varied and the descriptions are not similar to each other. They agree on only one thing: succubi always look incredibly desirable. Even the hermits, burdened with Christian complexes and considering them to be the offspring of the devil, admit this. This variability raises the question: what do they really look like? What if succubi in their natural environment are horned, tailed, and nasty looking? The easiest way to answer this question is to conduct an experiment and see everything with your own eyes. To do this, you need to go to a state usually called the astral plane and find a “free” succubus who is not currently communicating with a person. But, in all honesty, we have to admit that few people know how to go to the astral plane. Therefore, let’s arm ourselves with logic and answer the question: WHY does a succubus have an unpleasant appearance? In the subtle world, a spirit deprived of a physical body has no need in any form. Not at all. His appearance is just an attribute, which is formed, again, from the personal preferences of a particular succubus. It is quite possible that there are also disgusting-looking succubi. And you can (if you want) call them. After all, different people are turned on by different things, so why not?
The canonical (though actually not that often accepted) appearance of a succubus is as follows:
Green, slightly glowing eyes.
Thick eyebrows, sometimes fused at the bridge of the nose.
There may be large membranous wings on the back.
The feet may have claws.
There may be small horns on the head.
Cold skin.
Large beautiful breasts with bright nipples.
There is no pubic hair. It is believed that if the hair there is folded into a cross, the succubus will experience pain, but most likely this is not the real reason, because succubi are not afraid of Christian symbols, shrines and even exorcists.
Feelings from communication.
A succubus evokes strong emotions in a person. Always sexual desire, mixed with other feelings, from delight to horror. There is fear, a feeling of danger, caused primarily by a feeling of helplessness. The meeting takes place “on its territory,” where an unprepared person is weak and poorly understands what is happening. That's why he's afraid. If a person does not have a subconscious fear of succubi, then the feelings from them are only positive. If there is, then you will have to overcome it: train awareness and study the subject of the challenge so as not to be afraid of the unknown.
What does she need?
What a person needs from a succubus is clear to everyone. What does a succubus need? There are several goals:
1) Energy. Vital, sexy, sensual - it is called differently. In terms of energy, a person is like a cow (and they don’t like to talk about it). It “sucks” energy from the surrounding world, transforms it, and radiates it back. The emitted energy is much “tastier” than the wild one. Just as a person feeds on cow's milk, so succubi feed on a person's excess energy, literally milking him. A couple of liters of milk or a spoonful of sperm are the same thing. Any strong emotion is suitable to stimulate the emission of energy. Not just sexual attraction. Jealousy, adoration, fear, horror, envy - whatever. Only its “taste” differs. No two people have the same food preferences, and the same goes for succubi. They all love the “taste” of lust, desire, but some add a note of adoration, some of fear, some of vice. Creatures that feed on concentrated fear and horror are no longer succubi and are called differently.
2) The sperm itself. A very common theory is that the sperm obtained by succubi is transferred to incubi and through them to women to give birth to children. Misconception. Yes, contact with a succubus ends in ejaculation. But sperm does not disappear anywhere, anyone can be convinced of this. And no mysterious pregnancies were recorded. Plus, succubi do not have a physical body and transferring even a small amount of matter is very difficult for them.
3) Human feelings directed towards a succubus. If you create a hierarchy of all creatures, then a person will be much higher than a succubus. A succubus is simply inferior in comparison. A person collects and processes raw energy, while a succubus only takes ready-made energy and spends it. A person has an internal psychological core, but a succubus does not. It is amorphous and inert. Awareness among succubi is much lower than among humans. At the moment of contact, the human mind is almost asleep, while the succubus’ mind, on the contrary, is at its peak. We can say that a succubus lives from reflections of a person’s thoughts and feelings. Glimpses of his mind and sparks of his life. On top of that, succubi have no soul. The existence of a succubus is precisely existence, not life. A person can waste time and energy on things that are completely useless from the point of view of a succubus simply because he says to himself “I WANT” or “I CAN”. This is amazing for succubi. In some ways, succubi and incubi are similar to pets. They also love affection and positive emotions addressed to them. They like it and may even be flattered.
What are they doing for this?
Succubi embody unfulfilled desires. All fantasies, even the wildest ones. Almost always, a succubus comes in the form of an experienced lover, from whom all the initiative comes. And this initiative meets the desires of a person so fully as an ordinary woman will never be able to. Sex with a succubus is not at all like a lazy “poke and cum” routine. The succubus skillfully ignites a real fire of passion. The stronger a person’s desire, the more energy the succubus will receive, so everything is used - from an erotic appearance to the most secret fetishes and desires.
Harmful?
Depends on the psyche. A weak, weak-willed person can become psychologically dependent on a succubus in the same way as on drugs. His limits are broken and for the sake of one more night with a succubus he is ready to sacrifice his last crumbs of energy. If every night someone has sex until the morning instead of sleeping, then the result is predictable. Moreover, sex with a succubus is something enchanting. Very pleasant, but also very expensive.
If a person is prone to schizophrenia (and such a tendency is determined by psychiatrists in early childhood), then his brain may simply not withstand the stress. The result is a madhouse.
The succubus should be kept in check, then there will be no harmful consequences. How to do this correctly? All methods aimed at protecting yourself from a succubus are nonsense and nonsense. Garlic, prayers, fencing yourself in a circle and other methods do not work. Succubi simply spit on them. The only way to keep a succubus in check is to keep yourself in check. It's difficult, I agree. The succubus comes to the call. In order not to call, you must either have an integral personality capable of self-restraint, or drain all sexual energy during the day for a long time. Masturbation is not entirely suitable for this; sex with a living woman is best.
Conclusion
Succubi are very interesting creatures, and studying them (especially in practice, hehe) is interesting and enjoyable.
